Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Dawn Taylor is set to have a shock one-night stand with Ellis Chapman.
Upcoming scenes from the ITV soap will see Dawn try her best to push Billy Fletcher as far away as possible, having recently broken up with him for his own good.
Billy is currently unaware that Dawn killed the corrupt DI Malone, and she's doing everything she can to make sure he doesn't get involved.
Next week, Will Taylor will be left shocked and horrified after discovering that Dawn purposefully slept with Ellis.
Justifying her actions, Dawn tells Will that she had to do the one thing Billy would never forgive her for in order to push him away and stop him finding out her killer secret.
What to Read Next
Meanwhile, an amused Marlon and Billy quiz Ellis on where he has spent the night. However, their smirks quickly vanish from their faces when Dawn arrives and reveals she and Ellis slept together.
Later, Dawn sinks to the floor and breaks down, realising that she's likely now lost the love of her life.
The next day, Billy angrily refuses to accept Ellis' apology, and matters are only made worse when Dawn approaches and lies that her affair with Ellis has been going on for ages.
Believing she has no other option, Dawn quits her job and we later see her leaving the Woodbine Cottage with a rucksack. Could this be the last we see of her for some time?
Emmerdale airs these scenes in the week commencing Monday, October 12 on ITV.
