Emmerdale vicar Harriet Finch has some explaining to do tonight (July 31) as Will Taylor questions her about DI Malone's lost police badge.
Harriet (Katherine Dow Blyton) has reason to worry when she realises that Will found the suspicious clue at the church.
Earlier this week, Malone (Mark Womack) spent the night at the church with Harriet's blessing, needing time to recover after Will attacked him with a wrench at the garage.
Malone left the next morning, but Will (Dean Andrews) was given a clue to his presence when he found the badge at the church.

In Friday's episode, Will shares his discovery with Harriet and expresses his fears over the possible implications for their safety.
Will comes clean about his recent showdown with Malone, unaware that the corrupt policeman has already told Harriet all about it.
Will isn't sure what to make of Malone's presence at the church, but strongly suspects that he was there to harm Harriet in some way.

Harriet reacts awkwardly to Will's wrong theory, knowing secretly that Malone loves her and wouldn't want to hurt her.
