Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale is hinting at a possible reunion for Leyla Harding and Liam Cavanagh in new scenes.
The pair recently broke up after Leyla slapped his daughter Leanna, with Liam deciding to put the latter first and end things with Leyla.
However, in scenes set to air next week, Leanna and Leyla's son Jacob decides to play cupid after seeing how sombre Liam looks.

Gabby is surprised to see that Leanna is now on good terms with Leyla and Jacob again, and as Leanna and Jacob head off, Gabby starts to feel lonely.

Later on, Jacob and Leanna both agree that they will be 'exclusive' with one another, though Leanna starts to feel sorry for Liam after seeing him depressed when he arrives back from a murder mystery retreat, as he is aware of his singledom.
Seeing that both of their parents are sad, Leanna and Jacob hatch a plan to get Leyla and Liam back together. Whether it works remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, former Emmerdale star Samantha Giles has suggested that Bernice Blackstock should have been killed off on the soap following her exit last year.
"If she had been killed, perhaps I'd have got a better exit story as it was a little disappointing," she explained.
"I had quite a lot of people on Twitter saying that they felt a bit cheated by the way Bernice left, but it's done now. You can't please everyone!"
Emmerdale airs these scenes in the week commencing Monday, July 6 on ITV.
