Emmerdale spoilers for next week follow.
Andrea Tate will rock the village with her latest decision in Emmerdale next week.
Prior to the lockdown episodes, Andrea (Anna Nightingale) fled the village with Millie (Willow Bell) as a way to heap suspicion on her ex Jamie (Alexander Lincoln) — and it worked when Jamie was named a person of interest.
Next week, the soap checks back in with Andrea and Millie as they hold out at a hotel, with Andrea assuring a police officer that the two are safe during a wellness check.
The police soon arrive at Home Farm to tell a despondent Jamie that they can confirm Andrea and Millie are safe, but will not reveal their whereabouts for their protection.
Andrea eventually makes contact with Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) for the first time since leaving the village. When Leyla leaves to meet up with her friend, Kim Tate (Claire King) can be seen watching on.

With Kim unknowingly giving chase, Leyla promises she will pay Andrea's hotel bill if her friend promises to finally come home.
During the time Leyla is negotiating with Andrea, Jamie is comforted by Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper). The two eventually declare that they're in love with one another — unaware that Andrea has returned and is watching them.
Andrea is crushed to see Jamie and Belle in love, so she confesses to Leyla that she cannot stay in the village as she quietly leaves once again.
However, this time, Jamie will be stunned to find Millie waiting for him in his kitchen! Has Andrea left her daughter behind for good?
Emmerdale airs these scenes in the week commencing Monday, June 29 on ITV. Emmerdale currently airs on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7pm on ITV as part of a new strategy to keep the soap on air throughout the pandemic.
