Nicola King is set to open up about her fears in a lockdown episode.
One of the six lockdown specials will catch up with what Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) and Jimmy (Nick Miles) have been doing in quarantine for a two-hander – and it looks as if they have been struggling.
Being cooped up seems to be bothering both of them, especially as Nicola is determined to keep busy with her council business even as everything in the village is shut down.

Jimmy can sense that something deeper is truly going on with Nicola, since she seems to be growing sadder as the days go on. Yet, she won't let him in on what's troubling her!

The couple eventually have to confront some very serious questions when Nicola's complains that their quiet lifestyle simply isn't enough for her anymore.
But Nicola is fearful that opening up will have dire consequences for her and Jimmy's marriage – is she right to be concerned?
Producers have already confirmed that the lockdown episodes will be "dripfeeding" information about what viewers missed during the break in filming.
"We have done an unspecified amount of time during lockdown," Jane Hudson told Digital Spy and other media. "You will see them on day two, day seven – we will jump into their world. We will see their ructions, their relationships. We are just diving straight on in and dripfeeding the timelapse of the lockdown."
These scenes will air in Emmerdale on Wednesday, June 17 at 7pm on ITV.
