Emmerdale spoilers for later in June follow.
Emmerdale will be revisiting the heartbreak over Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden's split.
Aaron's (Danny Miller) lingering feelings over his divorce from Robert (Ryan Hawley) will come to the forefront once again in one of the soap's upcoming lockdown specials, filmed as a special two-hander.
While Aaron is stuck in lockdown with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), he is determined to help a reluctant Cain open up about his feelings over the upheaval in his life.

However, it's Cain who ends up trying to shield Aaron's feelings when a letter arrives with a prison stamp on it. Cain ultimately decides to hide the letter in a magazine so it won't dredge up any trauma for Aaron.
What to Read Next
Yet, Cain eventually mentions the letter when the pair later get drunk, but he can't remember where he put it! Aaron is sent into a tailspin, as he rages at Cain about his dysfunctional relationship with Moira.
Cain later attempts to make things right by apologising for hiding the letter, but reading it could well open up old wounds for Aaron.
And, will Cain ever open up about his true feelings for Moira (Natalie J. Robb) following her affair with Nate (Jurell Carter) and so much other drama over the past several months?

Viewers will find out next week, because Cain and Aaron's lockdown special is currently set for transmission on Wednesday, June 10.
Emmerdale currently airs on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7pm on ITV as part of a new strategy to keep the soap on air throughout the pandemic.
