Emmerdale featured a tense episode tonight (May 22) between Leyla Harding and Leanna Cavanagh, spilling over into violence.
In the dramatic scenes, Roxy Shahidi's Leyla finally lost it with her boyfriend Liam Cavanagh's teenage daughter, after someone targeted Take A Vow with a revenge attempt – she lost a "small fortune" in the process.
Spotting Mimi Slinger's Leanna out and about in the village, who she decided was responsible for the incident, Leyla confronted her with some choice words.

The pair proceeded to have a full-blown argument, with Leyla calling Leanna a "cow" and a "sociopath" amongst other things, before receiving a torrent of abuse back from the youngster.
As a result, Leyla landed a huge slap across Leanna's face, but this will only complicate her relationship with Liam even more.

Over on Twitter, Emmerdale viewers weighed in on Leyla's hasty actions.
"Maybe next time Leyla should get some actual proof about just who exactly trashed her business BEFORE she goes on the defense attacking teenagers in public on the street," blasted one user.
"Actually I'm on Leyla's side. Leanna deserved that slap big time," wrote someone else.
