Emmerdale's Billy Fletcher will be arrested as part of DI Malone's next move.
In scenes airing next week, Malone (Mark Womack) is quietly furious when his 4x4 is found in a field by the police. The vehicle was originally supposed to be disposed of by Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and Billy (Jay Kontzle) earlier this month, but they kept the car as an insurance policy.

The bloodstained car being discovered could have consequences for Malone, and so he demands answers from Cain and Billy.
Malone realises that Cain and Billy deliberately kept hold of the vehicle as leverage against him, and responds by setting Billy up and having him arrested for assault.

Jeff Hordley recently discussed how Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) – worried about getting on the wrong side of Malone – will betray Cain and Billy over the car.
"Will's had dealings with Malone before and he puts him on the back foot" he told Digital Spy and other media. "Will thinks he's doing the right thing and decides to tell Malone about the car.
"Will puts a spanner in the works for Cain and Billy. Every time Cain thinks he's getting a handle on the situation, Will squeals."
Emmerdale airs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 7pm on ITV.
