Emmerdale's Cain Dingle attempts to fight back with a risky plan against DI Malone, as Billy Fletcher is dragged into the feud.
In scenes airing next week, newcomer DI Malone (Mark Womack) continues to have the upper hand – having forced Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) to return to the criminal world as well as leaving a warning to Cain by murdering one of Moira's bulls.
Billy (Jay Kontzle) begins to get involved when he sees that Will is worried about Dawn's son Lucas moving in due to the threat that Malone poses.
Billy, keen to make sure both Dawn and Lucas are safe from DI Malone, wants to know how Cain plans to deal with the corrupt copper.
Billy approaches Cain again over whether or not DI Malone has been dealt with, which troubles Will. Will later tells Billy at the Woolpack to keep everything related to DI Malone private, adding that Billy should leave Cain alone and trust him to fix the situation.
DI Malone, however, gets the jump on Billy at the scrapyard and orders him to call Cain over. Cain hurries to the scrapyard.

DI Malone then assigns Cain and Billy a transport job – to dispose of a car on Hotten Road. Cain brings the requested car to the scrapyard, but before the vehicle is destroyed, Cain and Billy notice a bloodstain in the boot.
This gives Cain an idea, as he puts into action a risky plan which could backfire...
