Emmerdale fans will see Cain Dingle's future rest in Nate Robinson's hands in tense scenes tonight (February 21).
Cain (Jeff Hordley) made a big mistake in last night's double bill, accidentally shooting Nate at Butler's Farm after mistaking him for a rustler.
In Friday's episode, Nate (Jurell Carter) regains consciousness at the hospital after undergoing surgery, but he knows that it could have been a lot worse.
Keen to see Nate before the police interview him, Cain pays a visit to him at the hospital and sheepishly explains what happened the night before.

Cain explains that the shooting was a genuine accident and, despite his recent threats and outbursts, he never would have pulled the trigger on his own son deliberately.
