Emmerdale's Charity Dingle faces two big shocks next week as Vanessa Woodfield's dark storyline continues.
Charity (Emma Atkins) is currently unaware of the fact that her fiancée has been taken captive by evil Pierce Harris at Mulberry Cottage, but new spoilers have hinted that she might get closer to the truth.
Early next week, Charity gets upset as she still hasn't received any texts or calls from Vanessa.
Charity believes that Vanessa is ignoring her and having a great time in France, unaware that her true situation is much darker.

Later on, though, Charity stumbles across Vanessa's passport and boarding pass still at home.

Monday night's Emmerdale episode (February 17) revealed that Vanessa was diagnosed with bowel cancer shortly before Pierce kidnapped her.
Show bosses have been working with Bowel Cancer UK on the storyline, which will play out over the coming months.
Michelle Hardwick, who plays Vanessa, recently said: "This is such a challenging storyline, but we've been working closely with Bowel Cancer UK, who have been enormously helpful to me in researching Vanessa's symptoms and treatment.
"I hope to do Vanessa's story justice. I was actually really shocked to learn that bowel cancer is the fourth most common cancer in the UK and the second biggest cancer killer, but diagnosed early is treatable."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
