Emmerdale has solved another big mystery in the 'Who Killed Graham?' saga, as it was revealed where Jamie Tate was on the night of the attack.

We've seen Jamie and Belle Dingle acting a bit shifty recently. Tonight's (January 29) episode confirmed that the pair were together that night, meaning she cheated on boyfriend Ellis Chapman and has put a big spanner in the works on him getting back with Andrea.

Jamie told Belle that while their kiss (and everything that happened after) was wrong, he was glad to have someone to listen to him and he felt wanted for the first time in ages. Fans have been speculating about a romance between them since last year, so it looks like it might finally be happening.

Unfortunately, Jamie lied about his whereabouts on the night of Graham's death, and Belle is adamant that if Ellis or anyone suspects they were together that night, she can't bring herself to hide the truth.

Ellis happened to knock on the door during their conversation, and Belle told him Jamie was just visiting on an animal-related issue.

Was that lie just a one-off? Will they never mention that night again? Or (more likely) will the truth be revealed and cause a whole lot of drama?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
