Emmerdale fans have spotted something very strange about Chas Dingle's choice of name for her baby.
Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) recently welcomed a baby girl following dramatic scenes of Chas giving birth in the Woolpack's toilet.
However, there was another topic that had fans of the ITV soap talking, after Chas revealed the baby's name.

Chas chose the name of Eve. Cute, right?
Well, long-term viewers may remember that when Chas was with Carl King (Tom Lister), he cheated on her with a woman called Eve (Suzanne Shaw). Chas then took revenge on her wedding day by abandoning Carl at the altar and exposing their affair in front of everyone.

"Carl cheated on Chas with Eve," pointed out one fan. "You telling me you can't remember Christmas Day 2010? It was a big scam story."
"Why on earth did the writers get Chas to call the baby Eve when Carl King had an affair with Edna's granddaughter Eve behind Chas's back?" someone else added. "If I remember that happening then surely the writers would."
"Wait a minute didn't Carl King cheat on Chas with a woman called Eve?" pointed out someone else too.
"Yeah but seemingly the writers, Chas and the rest of the villagers have forgotten that," responded another fan.
