Emmerdale's Robert Sugden could once again be in trouble with the law after a violent clash with Lee Posner.
Earlier this week, Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) was put through even more heartache when her rapist Lee (Kris Mochrie) demanded a public apology to clear his name.
In Tuesday's (July 30) double bill, a defiant Victoria refused to apologise to her attacker, even though Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) reasoned that paying off Lee would be the only way to be rid of him.
Lee proved how dangerous he is by turning up once again for an answer on his ultimatum, but seeing Victoria's rage, he doubled the money.
"Ten grand, that'll pay for the flight to Australia, but what's left is gonna run out pretty soon, isn't it?" Lee taunted. "I'm your problem, and you're going to have to pay a lot more to make it go away."
Backed into a corner, Robert agreed to come up with £20,000 if Lee promised to convince his mother that he wasn't the father of Victoria's baby after all, then disappear for good.

"I hope you die, slowly, and in pain," Victoria seethed, adding: "No offence."
As Robert tried getting Lee out of the house, the rapist stopped him once more to add yet another cruel insult to injury.
"Sometimes 'no' doesn't really mean 'no', does it? It just adds to it," Lee again taunted.
He then disgustingly insinuated that he gave Victoria "a nice little souvenir" to remember him by, referring to her baby. That pushed Robert past his limit, so he attacked Lee outside the house!
"You're not walking away from this," Robert warned as the fight spilled into the village's Wild West murder mystery game.
In the end, Robert grabbed a shovel and whacked Lee over the head with it — but the costumed villagers initially assumed this was all part of the murder mystery.
When Lee wouldn't move, panic settled in and an ambulance was called to rush him to hospital. Aaron looked on in disbelief as the police arrived on the scene at the end of the episode.
"He attacked you first, that's what you tell them," Aaron urged his partner.
Whatever happens with Lee, there is yet more drama ahead for Robert and Aaron, as the soap revisits their surrogacy storyline next week.
When the couple reach out to their surrogate Natalie (Thea Beyleveld) to revisit their options, they will be surprised by her reaction.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with extra episodes at 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
