Emmerdale's Paddy Kirk makes a big mistake tonight (May 27) as he thinks it's a good idea to cancel Chas Dingle's 20-week baby scan.
Paddy (Dominic Brunt) reaches the drastic decision as he notices how stressed Chas seems in the build-up to the milestone moment.
Chas (Lucy Pargeter) is nervous about the scan as she received the tragic news over baby Grace's condition at this point in her last pregnancy – and can't help fearing that something terrible could happen again.
The Woolpack landlady is also struggling with Lisa's sudden death, which has rocked the entire Dingle family.
In tonight's episode, Paddy realises something is wrong when Chas snaps in a conversation over the scan.
Fearing the worst, Paddy gets carried away and decides to cancel the scan behind Chas's back – fearing that she's not in the right frame of mind for it at the moment.
