Emmerdale's Jacob Gallagher will be celebrating his 16th birthday in Thursday's episodes (February 28), but some fans have pointed out one strange detail.
The character, played by Joe-Warren Plant, is currently at the centre of a major storyline and being groomed by evil schoolteacher Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein). The storyline continues tonight as Maya suggests they spend time alone on his birthday.
Jacob and his loved ones also gather for his birthday party at the cafe.

Some viewers, however, have pointed out that Jacob's birthday was previously on March 31.
"I thought Jacob's birthday was the 31st of March? Maybe I dreamt it?" said one person on Twitter, among others.

In the grand scheme of things, it's just a small tweak and done for the purposes of an important storyline.
On Jacob's birthday, he gets to work by adding romantic touches to the summerhouse he is scheduled to meet Maya at, but is stopped in his tracks when Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) arrives.
Jacob attempts to cover, telling Liv that the romantic touches were for her, and she considers having sex with him as a furious Maya watches on.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
