Emmerdale has revealed that Cain Dingle will be arrested over Joe Tate's murder next week.
Police come looking for Cain (Jeff Hordley) at The Woolpack after word spreads throughout the Dingle family that he's responsible for getting rid of Debbie's fiancé.
Last night's episode saw Cain finally confess all to Debbie (Charley Webb), who also shares the revelation with her grandmother Faith next week.
Faith (Sally Dexter) then slips up by letting Moira's son Matty know about what Cain did to Joe, wrongly assuming that he already knew. Matty is left sickened as he struggles to come to terms with the revelations, shocked by what Cain is capable of.
Matty (Ash Palmisciano) does agree to keep Cain's guilt a secret, but he feels terrible for Debbie when she confides in him about how it feels like she's lost both Cain and Joe.
This isn't the only drama engulfing Cain, as he also makes another big mistake by making a move on his ex-partner Charity (Emma Atkins) – forcing her to fight him off when he won't take no for an answer.
