EastEnders spoilers follow.
After finally returning to Albert Square for good, EastEnders' Sharon Watts is set to come face-to-face with the woman who drove her away in the first place. In scenes set to air next week, will the fan-favourite character be in a forgiving mood?
Viewers will remember that, late last year, Zoe Slater claimed that her estranged son's biological father was Sharon's late husband, Dennis Rickman - leaving Sharon excited to have found a potential link to her own late son, Denny.

However, after Sharon gave Zoe money for a private investigator, it was revealed that Zoe had been lying. A devastated Sharon soon fled Walford, with her absence in East London being sorely felt.
Now, after a brief return earlier this year, the beloved character is officially back, and she's already sent shockwaves through the Square by telling Phil Mitchell that she's selling off her half of the Boxing Den.

Next week's scenes on the BBC soap will see Phil reeling from the news, while Max Branning wastes no time in making a bid to buy it. Sharon, meanwhile, confronts Zoe in The Vic about her previous lies, with Jasmine and Josh stepping in to vouch for their mum.
Zoe is full of remorse, but it appears that Sharon is in no mood to forgive her just yet. Whether she'll ultimately have a change of heart remains to be seen, but there's sure to be plenty of drama along the way.

Elsewhere, Ian Beale will try to keep calm as he faces prison time for Jordan Fox's hit-and-run, with our EastEnders insider teasing: "Ian is a desperate man. He has people left, right and centre telling him what they think he should do, but only he can decide.
"If he pleads not guilty, he'll be forced to blame Chelsea for what happened, painting her as an unfit mother. But if he pleads guilty, there's still no guarantee he'll escape prison. Either way, he might end up behind bars for some time!"
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
