EastEndersLinda Carter is in the mood for dancing next week, when she hosts a salsa class at the community centre! But will everything go as she hopes, or will her event end up falling flat?

Linda is no stranger to bringing Walford residents together, having thrown plenty of special events at The Vic during her tenure as landlady.

So, when she comes up with the idea of holding a salsa class, it’s all systems go - and even Max Branning gets involved by encouraging his neighbours to show off their fancy footwork…

"It’s a really lovely idea that Linda comes up with," begins our EastEnders insider. "She thrives when she’s bringing people together, particularly those who mean a lot to her.

"It’s also great to see Max show his support for Linda by urging others to turn up for the class. Who would’ve thought that either Max or Linda would be here this time last year? They must not quite believe it themselves!"

At the community centre, Lauren, Peter, Harry, Gina and Callum are just a few of the familiar faces that arrive for the session. However, just as the dancing begins, a drunken attendee threatens to ruin the fun…

"Luckily, Callum swoops in and saves the day," reveals our source. "As soon as the drunk visitor starts causing trouble, Callum steps in to keep everything on course. It turns out that it can be pretty useful having a copper in the family when it comes to situations like this!"

After the class comes to an end, Max sits down with Linda for a one-on-one chat. With a cuppa in hand, the former lovers reflect on old wounds they share, but they’re forced to nip it in the bud when Cindy arrives and takes Max to The Vic.

"Linda and Max are making progress before Cindy comes in," says our insider. "There’s so much history between them that one conversation was never going to magically heal everything, but it could’ve been what they both needed for a fresh start.

"Maybe Cindy susses that out straight away, and that’s why she’s so keen to whisk her man away to the pub!"

Will Linda and Max pick up their conversation another day? And if so, what will Cindy have to say about it?

Max and Cindy recently got engaged ahead of the big flashforward episode on New Year's Day 2027, which sees Max with a mystery bride. However, he woke up next to another woman on his wedding day, after cheating with Priya. It now looks possible that old flame Linda could become involved in the plot...

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
