Eastenders' Martin Fowler is set for a Christmas love triangle with his ex-wives.
In recent weeks, Martin has gone through a whirlwind, thanks to the return of his ex-wife Ruby Allen.
Ruby brought with her Roman – her and Martin's son she had secretly given birth to whilst in prison.

Martin later found out that Roman was fighting for his life in hospital with autoimmune hepatitis and Martin set about fighting for full custody of him.

Next week, Martin will discover he is a match for Roman and agree to a liver transplant before confiding in Stacey that he's worried about the procedure, leading to a kiss between the exes.
Then, in scenes that will air in the week beginning Monday, December 23, Stacey will take advice from Eve and Kat and head to No. 43 to speak to Martin about Ruby.
However, Stacey is shocked to learn that the pair are now living together. Though Martin tells Stacey there's nothing going on between him and Ruby, he unknowingly offends her in the process.
On Christmas Day, the Slaters prepare for a family meal at No. 31, but Stacey is put out when Ruby arrives.
Later, Martin returns from visiting his son in hospital and Stacey attempts to speak to Martin again, but they’re interrupted by Harvey and Jean, who update them on what’s going on with the Beales and the Knights.

Then, in scenes airing the week beginning Monday, December 30. Zack tries to rope Martin into a big New Year's Eve night out.
But Martin decides to spend the evening with Ruby and their son at the hospital and she is thrilled when Martin arrives.
On New Year’s Day, Martin rushes to Stacey’s side in her hour of need, only for Ruby to join them. Stacey isn’t happy that Ruby is there and snaps at her, much to Martin’s annoyance.
However, surprisingly, Ruby tries to calm the situation and encourages Martin to be there for Stacey.
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
