EastEnders' Yolande Trueman is set to get some important news about Pastor Clayton next week.
Earlier this year, the soap embarked on a harrowing storyline which saw Yolande sexually assaulted by Pastor Clayton while they were working together at the church.
She kept quiet about her traumatic experience for a while, but eventually opened up to those around her, and then found the courage to report him to the police.

At first, there wasn't enough evidence against the pastor. However, two more women came forward and made allegations, which strengthened the case against him.
Back in September, Pastor Clayton confronted Yolande and tried to persuade her to withdraw her statement, but Yolande stood firm.
But she was then told by the police the shocking news that the pastor had taken his own life that evening.
Pastor Clayton left a voice note for his wife Stella where he denied all the allegations made against him, so Yolande was left devastated that she and the other brave women would never get justice.

Yolande questioned her faith in the aftermath of these events, and while she has attempted to move on with her life, it is clear that she's still deeply affected by what happened.
In scenes that will air next week, Walford begins its festive celebrations with the Square’s annual Christmas lights switch-on.
While Albert Square is full of excitement, Yolande struggles to get into the Christmas spirit after her difficult year.
Things get worse when she is taken aback by unexpected news about Pastor Clayton's funeral, which brings back some traumatic memories.

Yolande is downhearted, but she has support from Chelsea and Patrick, who try to convince her to attend Jordan's Christingle service. Will she be able to enjoy the festive season?
Also next week, Eve returns to Walford, and while she is able to make amends with Stacey, things are still tense between her and Suki.
She eventually changes her mind, and Eve makes a romantic gesture at the Christmas lights. Will Suki and Eve get their happily ever after?
