EastEnders has revisited Suki Panesar's mystery symptoms.

Earlier in the year, Suki sparked concern when her hair suddenly started falling out. While she initially tried ignoring the symptoms, she eventually blamed them on anxiety.

The mystery faded into the background in recent weeks, as Suki tried to prove Ravi Gulati murdered family friend Ranveer and kept secrets over Nugget running away from Walford.

Suki was also at the centre of a disturbing scene where her husband Nish behaved violently, physically assaulting Suki to intimidate her into dropping her suspicions about Ravi.

In Wednesday's episode (October 18), Suki was visibly worse for wear as she excused herself from the big reunion between Ravi and his ex-partner Priya.

Nish questioned Suki when she was about to leave the house later on, but she insisted she just needed some fresh air.

The next time viewers saw Suki, she was sobbing in a corner of the Minute Mart. As she pulled her hand away from the back of her neck, she pulled a clump of hair out with it.

Wednesday's episode ended with Suki crying as she stared at the clump of hair in her hands. While it's not clear yet what is wrong with Suki, the character is set for a difficult few months.

Producer Chris Clenshaw has confirmed that Suki's affair with Eve Unwin will be outed before the end of autumn.

"Suki ultimately makes a really big decision this autumn, which has huge consequences," Clenshaw revealed to Inside Soap.

"Nish will find out about her and Eve, but I'm not going to give anything else away as I know everyone's desperate to find out how Nish is going to react..."

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
