EastEnders’ Stacey Slater has faced a huge setback in her bid to stop Theo Hawthorne's deplorable behaviour.

Stacey has been through a rough time lately due to Theo’s stalking campaign, with developments coming to a head as she sought a Stalking Prevention Order.

Tonight’s (October 2) episode began with Martin discovering that Theo had littered intimate photos of Stacey throughout the Square, making her even angrier amid the hearing.

As the detective laid out the case, the judge pressed for “hard facts” and the avoidance of emotion, but she received a shock as Theo's lawyer went on the attack.

Stacey saw her character questioned, with her prior prison terms and relationships being brought up, leading Stacey to take action.

As the lawyer goaded her, Stacey spoke up with the aim of “getting her life back”, highlighting the injustices of the system, imploring the court to listen to her.

Her pleas fell on deaf ears, however, with the order not being granted, leaving Stacey and her family crestfallen at the prospect of Theo's behaviour not only continuing, but worsening.

As Stacey was embraced by Martin, Theo quietly shuffled away without uttering a word, but just what else does he have planned?
