Fearing that Theo's image might sway the magistrate, Stacey decides to attend the hearing and speak.
She arrives to hear DS Garrett laying out the case against Theo before his solicitor Mr Rath addresses the court.
As Theo's solicitor tears apart Stacey's reputation and character, she can hold back no longer.
The fallout of the magistrate's decision has far-reaching consequences for Stacey.
Afterwards, Theo makes it clear that the magistrate's ruling hasn't changed anything for him, as he insists that he will make sure Stacey loves him as much as he loves her, and they are meant to be together.
Later, Theo breaks into the Slater house while Stacey is home alone, and a shocking incident unfolds.
Discussing next week's scenes, Lacey Turner – who plays Stacey – said: "I think Stacey's desperate to get this whole Theo situation over and done with.
"It's been a nightmare for her to have him next door, and she's sick of living in fear. Nothing she says to Theo works because he's completely delusional, so she's hoping the court can make him finally leave her alone.
"After she finds out about Theo's posters, it's the last straw. She sees him skulking off to court in a posh suit with a fancy lawyer and worries he will sway the judge."
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
