EastEnders' Sonia Fowler and Reiss Colwell will receive an update on their baby plans, as they embark on their journey to welcome a child into the world.

The couple recently made the massive relationship decision after Sonia broached the subject of trying IVF together.

But recent scenes have seen a dark twist in the storyline as Reiss plans to use money that belongs to him and his wife Debbie, who is unconscious in hospital and requires round-the-clock care after a serious stroke, without Sonia's knowledge.

In upcoming scenes, Sonia is nervous to receive the results of her and Reiss' tests at the IVF follow-up appointment.

Elsewhere on the Square, Alfie Moon is set to struggle in the wake of his prostate cancer diagnosis and operation, leading to him telling Phil Mitchell he needs to rest and recuperate in Spain.

However, this leaves his son, Tommy, devastated as he was hoping to have his father present at his first boxing match.

And Cindy Beale demands money from George Knight, who knew her as Rose Knight, as she discovers that he has found a buyer for the family's bar in Marbella.
