Sonia is stunned as she realises that Reiss is planning to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III, not her birthday.
Too proud to voice her displeasure, Sonia lets Reiss continue to harp on about the Coronation party. However, she soon loses patience over his behaviour.

The final straw for Sonia comes when she witnesses Rocky Cotton create a heartfelt romantic gesture for Kathy at the café.

As Sonia continues to stay silent about her unhappiness, Rocky intervenes and lets Reiss know why she's so annoyed with him.

When Reiss was introduced to screens late last year, Natalie Cassidy — who plays Sonia — praised the new romance storyline.
Natalie told Digital Spy and other media: "Having this shining beacon of light coming in, I feel like it's going to be a really exciting time.
"In the stuff I've been doing lately, I really feel that you're seeing the comedic side of Sonia come back and the light.
"I really am enjoying playing her and I think it's really special."
