EastEnders' Denise fears for her secret as Jack investigates Ravi

EastEnders spoilers follow.

After agreeing to spend a night in a hotel with Ravi Gulati, Denise Fox will soon fear for her marriage as husband Jack Branning investigates.

In EastEnders scenes airing next week, the guilt-ridden wife seduces Jack whilst he works from home, but is shocked to find a picture of Ravi on his laptop.

Naturally, Denise worries for her secret.

Later on, her and Jack are horrified to learn that Amy Mitchell overheard Ravi's promiscuous behaviour while she was visiting his son Davinder 'Nugget' Gulati.

An enraged Jack fumes about the example being set for his daughter, but before he can confront Ravi, Denise plays peacekeeper and promises to have it out with him instead.

Over at Walford East, a smug Ravi tells Denise that she has nothing to be concerned about, which in fact has the opposite effect.

Just last week, actress Diane Parish spoke about her character's infidelity twist.

"Denise is feeling pretty overlooked in general, and in particular feeling like her husband doesn't see her," she revealed. "And what he does see in her is someone who serves a function in their household. He sees her as a cook, a washer-upper, someone to deal with the kids, pick up the kids.

"She's constantly having to remind him to inject a little bit of romance to keep their relationship and their communication alive, but at the minute she's just feeling a little bit neglected, overlooked and invisible."

Parish added of the Ravi hook-up: "It's cheeky and the clandestine nature of it has got her blood pumping, and it enables her to have something of her own which isn't about Amy, Ricky, Chelsea or Jordan or Jack – and everything that's been whirring around her.

"This is something that belongs to her and is all encapsulated in that hotel key card. It's a hidden excitement because it's their little secret."
