EastEnders' Sam Mitchell is set to make a big decision about her future as her son Ricky Jr faces the police. Viewers know that Ricky Jr is the father of 12-year-old Lily Slater's baby but Ricky Jr and his mum are not yet aware.
Over the last month Sam has been reconnecting with former flame Ricky Butcher with the pair going on dates and bringing up old feelings.
But after getting legal custody of Scarlett after Janine's arrest, Ricky now plans to leave with her to go back to Germany.
In upcoming scenes Sam will consider what she really wants in life, and whether a new life abroad with Ricky and Scarlett is preferable to all the Mitchell drama on the Square.
But, while Ricky is excitedly making arrangements for his new life with Scarlett and Sam, she is worried about telling Ricky Jr. that she’s leaving.
Meanwhile, Lily goes to find Ricky Jr. and breaks the news that she is pregnant. He rushes off in a panic and bumps into Sam, blurting it out. Sam then blows her chance to console him and upsets him by revealing she’s moving to Germany.

Then, as Ricky is choosing an engagement ring for Sam, she is busy trying to make things right with Ricky Jr. After the bombshell, Phil and Kat can’t believe Sam still plans to go to Germany.
Sam then goes to the Brannings' to explain why she has to go, but Jack is furious as their son could face criminal charges. Later, Jack apologises to Ricky Jr. for his anger and for neglecting him recently.
In later scenes, Sam sees Jack and Ricky Jr. leaving for the police station and feels awful but as she turns around she sees Ricky down on one knee holding an engagement ring. What will Sam say?
Meanwhile, Jack and Ricky Jr. arrive at the police station for his interview. Later, Sam turns up to support her son. After Jack loses his temper, Sam sits in with Ricky at the interview, and he’s glad to have her there.
Back in Walford, Ricky is stressing that Sam is so late they might miss their plane. She finally arrives, and Ricky chivvies her to get moving. Will Sam leave with Ricky and Scarlett?
