Stacey Slater faces a heartbreaking choice over Lily's pregnancy in EastEnders.
In Monday's (January 9) episode, Stacey decided to keep daughter Lily home from school because the social worker and police were planning to speak with her headteacher about her pregnancy.
Stacey once again encouraged Lily to tell the social worker about Ricky Jr being the father, yet the girl refused because she never wants him or his father Jack Branning to find out.
Lily was horrified when Stacey and Jean explained that they'd have to tell the rest of the family, including Martin, about her pregnancy before the social worker and detective started interviewing them all.

Stacey never got to have that conversation with Martin because police were already at Sharon's flat waiting to speak with him about the situation.
During the Slater family meeting, the adults were also shocked by the news, especially since Stacey made it clear she would not share the father's identity with them out of respect for Lily's wishes.
Martin stormed in, after being briefed by the police, shouting at Stacey for not telling him earlier. A heartbroken Lily took her jacket and snuck out of the house during the row.
As the family went out to search for Lily, it wasn't long before Eve found her at the tube station. Stacey and Martin rocked up to the house arguing about Lily keeping the dad a secret.

They weren't aware that the detective and social worker were inside questioning Alfie and Freddie. Stacey was suddenly in the hot seat when the detective revealed they know Stacey is concealing information.
"I'm sorry, but due to the seriousness of the investigation, we have to consider that there's an element of uncertainty about Lily's safety in the house," the social worker explained.
Stacey was given an ultimatum — she would have to reveal the father's identity or Lily could be removed from the home.
EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
