EastEnders actor Danny Dyer has ruled out a potential return to the soap after a fan theorised how he could make a surprise return.
Dyer quit the soap as Mick Carter during this year's Christmas Day episode.
Viewers watched as Mick seemingly lost his life after he met a watery grave. However, his body was never actually discovered.
As a result, it's led some fans to suggest that Dyer could be set to make a return to Albert Square in the future, with some even suggesting he'll do a Harold Bishop, who famously returned from the dead to Neighbours 5 years after being lost at sea, claiming to have had amnesia.
However, the beloved British actor has now squashed those rumours in a new interview following his character's death airing.

Appearing on The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan, he said: "I don’t want to come back."
Gilligan compared the possibility of a return to that of Leslie Grantham, who made a shock comeback to the square following his "death" as Dirty Den.
"He [Grantham] was skint, he needed to come back," continued Dyer. "The geezer was on his arse. I don’t fancy it, Mo. I’ve done over 1,000 episodes."
Elsewhere, Dyer recently shared that he's found leaving the soap tough to process after spending nine years in the role.
Speaking to Digital Spy and other media, he said: "It’s very emotional for me. I’m very attached to the show and it’s been a third of my career.
"30 years I’ve been knocking about in this industry and nearly 10 I’ve been in this show. To make the decision I made, I didn’t make it lightly.
"It’s a huge job to walk away from. I thought long and hard about it and I wanted it to be a fitting end, so hopefully, it is.
"There was an alternative ending, to be fair, but we’ve not gone with that."
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
