EastEnders' Lauren Branning will clash with Linda Carter when she returns next week.
Jacqueline Jossa has reprised her role as Lauren for Dot Branning's funeral episode, which is set to air in the week commencing Monday, December 13.
Lauren is one of six characters confirmed to be making a comeback for the special scenes. Lord Michael Cashman, Gary Hailes, Jan Graveson, Tom Watt and Linda Davidson are all returning to the show as well.
As Lauren reunites with her loved ones for the sad occasion, Linda’s heart is in her mouth at the sight of her.
Viewers know that Linda had a brief fling with Lauren's dad Max at the end of 2020, and later gave birth to his baby.

However, Linda has been determined to keep the truth from Max – especially after he fled the country with his young granddaughter Abi.
Linda is naturally terrified her secret will be exposed when she comes face to face with Lauren for the first time in years at Dot's wake.
Lauren doesn't hold back as she lets rip at Linda for breaking her dad's heart, but will she cotton on to the truth about Annie, or not?
Discussing her return, Jacqueline said: "She’s still the same old Lauren, but maybe grown up a little bit!
"I think she’ll be able to provide some updates about other members of the Branning family! Hopefully, Lauren coming home is something positive and light. Obviously, Lauren is upset to lose Grandma Dot, but it’s a bittersweet feeling to be back."
Jacqueline added: "I was really nervous because, no matter what, it’s always such a big thing to be at EastEnders.
"But when I got there, it didn’t feel like anything had changed. It just felt like being back at home. The two episodes are very emotional from top to bottom because there are so many layers."
