EastEnders is facing a disruption in its schedule due to the 2022 FIFA World Cup taking place in November and December this year.
The BBC will be airing multiple live games over the course of the football tournament, which runs from November 20 to December 18. That means that several episodes of EastEnders, which usually airs on BBC One, will now be airing on BBC Two instead.
These are the first batch of confirmed schedule changes so far.

These are the only confirmed scheduling changes to EastEnders so far, although we will keep you up to date with any future changes. Nothing has been confirmed in regards to episodes being released early on BBC iPlayer, either, but, again, we will let you know of any announcements as soon as they come in.
The BBC does not have a scheduled game in the evening of Friday, November 25 as the England vs Wales game is airing on ITV from 7pm. That means that Emmerdale and Coronation Street have had their schedules changed for the World Cup, too.
The same happened last year for the delayed 2020 Euro tournament, while EastEnders faced schedule changes during this year's Wimbledon. The soap moved to BBC Two during that tournament, too.
EastEnders usually airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
