Alfie Moon has decided not to leave Walford in EastEnders.
The popular character made a huge return this week to stop ex-wife Kat's wedding to rival Phil Mitchell and while he was successful, the couple still plan to tie the knot in the future.
In Thursday's (September 15) episode, Alfie was weighing up leaving Walford since Kat had chosen to stay with Phil over getting back with him.

Alfie begged Kat to spend some time with the boys. In spite of Phil's reluctance, Alfie came through for the twins and Tommy during a fun day out.

Alfie even shared a moment with Tommy where he assured the boy he considers him just as much of a son as Bert and Ernie even though he's not the boy's biological father.
Before heading off, Alfie dropped by the Vic where raising a pint to his kids gave him second thoughts about leaving Albert Square so soon.
It appeared Kat was already warming up to Alfie, as she snapped at Phil when he complained about the boys not seeing their father for "another few years".

"Don't do that, don't sneer at him. I know he ain't perfect but he really came through for those boys today," Kat told Phil.
Phil tried to smooth things over by assuring "everything's back on track" for their wedding with Alfie gone just as Kat got a text from the man himself.
Kat excused herself to open the door, where Alfie was waiting with a message: "Sorry, Kat, I saw the way you looked at me earlier and it's the same look I have inside when I look at you."
Alfie pulled Kat in for a kiss, and while she shoved him off and slapped him, he insisted he's "not going nowhere".

"I'm gonna win you back before you and Phil tie the knot. I love you Kat, you know I've always loved ya," Alfie told her. "How about this? It's gonna be me and you getting married."
Kat blew off his declaration of love but the episode ended with Alfie determined to win his former wife back.
