Bernie spots Dotty as she leaves and has a chat with her, encouraging her to be honest with Vinny and to stop letting him think there is more between them than there actually is.
And Bernie is not the only one dishing out advice as Rocky also takes the time to push Dotty into doing the right thing.

Taking Bernie and Rocky's advice to heart, Dotty does indeed seek Vinny out and confesses everything, including that she and Finlay have slept together.
Vinny is devastated when he hears the news, and the arrival of Finlay does not help to make things better – it only ends up making it all even worse.
Furious at the betrayal, Vinny throws Dotty out of the house and makes it clear that he wants nothing more to do with her.
Will Dotty be able to find a way to make things right with Vinny?
