EastEnders spoilers follow.

EastEnders will air an upsetting storyline for Frankie Lewis as the character is getting ready to say goodbye to Albert Square.

In upcoming scenes, Frankie (Strictly Come Dancing winner Rose Ayling-Ellis) is excited to start her job as a teaching assistant, but is angered when Amy, Denzel and Nugget mimic her as she is signing to Esme.

Frankie tells them off but later on, she discovers the same students have created a social media video using inappropriate pictures of her.

Dissatisfied with Mr Morden's response to the incident, an upset Frankie decides to go clubbing with her friends, and starts to feel better. However, her night is ruined when a stranger tries to kiss her after repeatedly hassling her on the dancefloor.

This cuts Frankie's night out short as she decides to go home, refusing Lola's (Danielle Harold) offer to accompany her.

Back home, Frankie's grandmother Shirley (Linda Henry) comforts Frankie, with her father Mick (Danny Dyer) being relieved she's got home physically unharmed – but Frankie doesn't see it that way.

Earlier this year, Ayling-Ellis commented on her exit after breaking ground as the soap's first deaf regular actor.

"I have loved my time on the show and Frankie has been such an awesome character to play," she said, adding that her exit storyline is "a really important one that will hit home for lots of people".

EastEnders airs these scenes next week, and the soap broadcasts on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
