Sonia Fowler's reunion with long-lost father Terry 'Rocky' Cant was fairly uncomfortable in EastEnders.

Tuesday's episode (Tuesday 18) saw Rocky (I'm a Celebrity star Brian Conley) arriving in Walford after receiving a letter from Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) asking to reconnect.

His arrival coincided with some conflict between Sonia and her housemates over Dotty (Milly Zero) continuing to scam money from older men at the club.

Sonia arrived at the club to find Rocky holding court with Dotty and others, not knowing that this man was her father.

She angrily confronted Dotty with an ultimatum: "You want to go start selling yourself then you are out of my house! I will be on that phone and calling Dot."

Sonia hit below the belt by insinuating Dotty had got up to "constant lying" like her father, then accused her of "fleecing old pervs" while glancing in an accusatory way at Rocky.

"I myself was 100% behind you until you called me an 'old pervert'," Rocky sarcastically shot at Sonia, with his daughter firing back: "Well, if the cap fits, love!"

After storming out of Ruby's club, Sonia joined Tiffany and Denise for a drink at the Vic to boast that she was quite enjoying speaking her mind. That's when Terry entered and was directed to Sonia's table.

He asked Denise and Tiffany to help him find Sonia, who by that time had ducked under the table in horror.

"Turns out, mine and Sonia's paths had just crossed by accident, which is rather ironic because I had been building myself up for meeting her for months," he explained.

Terry then ducked down to square up with Sonia under the table, in order to introduce himself as her long-lost dad. Sonia was left gobsmacked over the duff-duff.

EastEnders continues on Thursday (May 20) at 7.35pm on BBC One.
