Two years after moving out of Walford in the most tragic of circumstances, could it be that Lauren Branning might soon return to EastEnders? Actress Jacqueline Jossa certainly seems to think so.
Following her exit from the BBC One soap back in 2018, Jacqueline – who is I'm a Celeb's reigning Queen of the Jungle – has now admitted that she would "love to go back" to Albert Square "someday".
Speaking to MailOnline, Jacqueline had nothing but kind words for EastEnders. "I absolutely love [it]," she said. "I love the people, the production, and I absolutely love Lauren Branning with all my heart."

Reflecting on her final scenes as Lauren, which saw her walk away from Abi's funeral with her son Louie in search of a fresh start, Jacqueline revealed that it wasn't "a goodbye forever".
"It doesn't feel like it was a goodbye forever, definitely not," she explained. "Well, not from my end anyway. I would love to go back someday."

Unfortunately for Branning fans, that "someday" may not be for a while. When asked if she would return in under five years, Lauren conceded that "yes", "that sounds better than me going back tomorrow".

While EastEnders isn't on the cards for Jacqueline at the moment, another TV series is, with the actress revealing earlier this month that she and her husband Dan might join The Only Way is Essex.
"I could be on TOWIE soon – me and Dan are gonna come back," she told fans. "They did actually ask us a while ago, but I was on EastEnders so I couldn't."
EastEnders airs on Monday evenings at 8pm and Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm on BBC One.
