EastEnders is lining up another sad ordeal for Whitney Dean as Leo's mum Michaela returns next week.
Whitney (Shona McGarty) has been released from prison on bail but is now facing an anxious wait to see if she'll be given a jail sentence over Leo's (Tom Wells) grisly death.
While Gray attempts to reassure Whitney ahead of her latest court appearance, they are unaware that Michaela (played by Smack the Pony star Fiona Allen) is back in Walford – and looking for Whitney.
After Michaela tracks Whitney down, Ruby is shocked to see the two women having a fairly civil conversation.
However, as Whitney opens up, Michaela shows her true colours and blames her for what happened. When things start to get out of hand, Gray is forced to step in and defuse the situation.
At The Vic afterwards, Gray and Chantelle calm a distressed Whitney down but Michaela soon appears again.
