EastEnders' Billy Mitchell will uncover Honey's eating disorder struggles in scenes to be aired in the New Year.
The soap previously revealed that Honey has had an unhealthy relationship with food since her teens, and following her split from her cheating boyfriend Adam, she's struggling once again.
In scenes set to be aired in the coming weeks, Karen and Bailey will tease Mitch about his love life, prompting him to ask Honey out on a date.
As the date gets under way, Mitch quizzes Honey when she orders a salad and shares some harsh words about her to Bernadette and Bailey.
Later, Ben, Louise and baby Peggy head off to the local beauty pageant, where they're joined by the Taylors, Billy, Lola and Honey. Janet wows the judges with her performance, but as Honey and Billy join her, Honey's behaviour arouses concern and Billy can't hide his frustrations.
Desperate to keep up appearances, Honey makes food for herself and the kids in front of Billy. As Billy tries to reason with her, Honey dismisses Billy's claims.
