EastEnders has revealed when Rainie Cross will return to Albert Square, after a few weeks away.

Rainie (Tanya Franks) was last seen back in October, when she was arrested for assaulting Kathy Beale amid her drugs relapse.

Viewers will see Rainie back on screens in scenes airing on Friday, December 13, when she heads home.

As Stuart plans a party for Rainie's arrival, he is thrilled to land a trial for a job at Coker's – much to the bemusement of his brother Callum.

However, it's not long before Jay starts to regret giving Stuart a trial when he suggests a Christmas promotion to drum up business.

With Stuart keen to turn his life around, it seems that Rainie has similar ideas too as she arrives back in Walford desperate to make up for her past actions.

Rainie's first port of call is to seek out Kathy, where she profusely apologises for everything that happened between them.

Later, Rainie reunites with Stuart and excitedly reveals her present for him, but what is it?

EastEnders airs these scenes on Friday, December 13 on BBC One.
