EastEnders has offered an insight into what fans can expect to see in the aftermath of Callum Highway's big confession.
Tonight's tense cliffhanger (August 29) saw Callum (Tony Clay) tell Whitney that he cheated on her with Ben Mitchell earlier in the summer.
Callum had decided to be honest with Whitney when a heart to heart with Ben made him realise that he couldn't marry her on a lie.
With Callum’s secret out, a distraught Whitney wastes no time in confronting Ben in tomorrow night's dramatic episode – but she could be in for another big shock as she still only knows half the story.
Furious, Whitney furiously gives Ben some very ugly home truths – before issuing him with chilling threat. But where does this leave her future with Callum?
Discussing Whitney's reaction, Shona McGarty – who plays her – said: "She feels absolutely betrayed and feels that she doesn’t even know who Callum is anymore.

"After the initial shock she just wants the truth – she can’t believe what’s happening. She never thought in a million years that he’d ever do this to her, she thought he was the one – it’s so sad. "
Teasing what happens next, Shona added: "Whitney’s obviously not happy at all, she's furious, but I think she’s actually angrier at Ben. She knows Ben manipulates everyone but she sees right through the games he plays, so she’s going to go in hard.
"At this point, Whitney thinks it was just a silly kiss, nothing more – it didn’t mean anything. But the showdown between Whitney and Ben in tomorrow’s episode where you see just how hurt she is, and that’s all I’m going to say.
"She 100% she blames Ben, at the moment, I can’t see her ever forgiving him."
Spoilers for next week have revealed that Whitney does still intend on going through with the wedding, but whether or not her and Callum actually end up tying the knot is being kept a closely guarded secret.
