EastEnders' Ben Mitchell will face new problems next week as his dad Phil becomes determined to find out who really attacked him.
Phil (Steve McFadden) was left fighting for his life when Stacey Fowler whacked him over the head with a wrench, but Ben has schemed to frame Keanu for the crime instead.
The shocking turn of events prompted both Stacey and Keanu to flee the Square with their respective partners, each desperate to avoid a lengthy jail sentence.
With Phil now on the mend, he'll prepare to return to the Square next week – hellbent on getting to the bottom of what really happened on that fateful day.
Although Ben throws a surprise party to welcome his dad home, Phil is less than impressed by his efforts and wastes no time in confronting his son about the argument he had with Jay at the hospital.
Worried that Phil is on to him, Ben quickly denies there was any argument – before rushing to warn Jay as well.
What to Read Next
Unfortunately for him, Phil gets there first and questions Jay on what happened, but fans will have to wait and see whether he drops Ben in it or not.
Either way, Phil will continue to search for answers about what happened as the week continues and soon turns his attentions to Kat Moon after remembering something crucial.
With Phil getting closer to the truth, those involved fear the worst and it’s only a matter of time before both Ben and Kat find themselves being confronted by Phil yet again. But will Phil discover the truth?
