EastEnders star Ricky Champ has hinted that the already troubling relationship between Stuart and Callum Highway will be frayed even further when their father arrives.
Titanic star Richard Graham is set to arrive in Albert Square later this year as the Highway brothers' father, following some mentions on-screen that both boys had a troubled upbringing in the past.
Champ shed some light on exactly what fans should expect while chatting to the Radio Times, teasing that secrets from the Highway family's past could come out.
"Richard comes in and it's an explosive little storyline," he said. "It illuminates a lot about Stuart and his brother Callum's upbringing. It was rough!"
Their father's arrival comes during a very sensitive time for the brothers, with Stuart only just managing to make some friends in the Square after helping to find the missing Bex Fowler. Prior to that, Stuart had done some pretty unsavoury things.
"He was ill when he did those bad things, and when someone is desperate, they act desperately," Champ said of his character's past infamous feud with Mick Carter.
