EastEnders has revealed a new storyline involving the Spice Girls as Mick Carter desperately tries to get tickets to one of their gigs for Linda.
In the new scenes, Linda will worry about Ollie's behaviour, though Mick assumes she's disappointed at not getting Spice Girls tickets and decides to enter a competition.
With Tina's help, he manages to get through to the next round, but is unhappy when another caller called Terry (played by Grange Hill's Lee MacDonald) gets the tickets to see the pop group.
Mick then decides to track Terry down – and when he does, the latter refuses to give his tickets up.
Later on, Shirley gets into a panic as she realises Tina is expecting a party to celebrate her last shift at the cafe. As Tina gets ready, Linda questions Mick's behaviour and learns about his chase to get tickets.
Linda is touched by Mick's determination, and repays him by singing his favourite song at the party, though Terry then arrives...

MacDonald's role was confirmed last month, the actor saying at the time: "I am absolutely chuffed to bits and so excited to be briefly joining the cast of EastEnders. I can't say too much yet but watch this space. Top banana!"
Last month, the Carter clan were also spotted filming in Spice Girls costumes for the storyline – yes, even Mick.
