EastEnders kicked off Sean Slater's hugely-anticipated return storyline with a bang on Friday night (April 26) as the bad boy immediately got up to his old tricks.
The episode featured Robert Kazinsky's first appearance in the BBC One soap since 2009, after Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) begged daughter Stacey (Lacey Turner) to get in touch with her long-lost son as she battles ovarian cancer.
Not hearing anything from Sean made Jean increasingly irritated all throughout Friday's emotional episode.
The mother-and-daughter tension led to a blow-up before Jean's medical appointment where Stacey revealed she had spoken to Sean but he'd chosen not to come round anyway.
Mother and daughter went their separate ways, with Stacey heading off to pick up the kids from school. Neither had any clue that Sean had secretly been lurking around Walford without attracting attention.
While Stacey was busy on the phone with husband Martin (James Bye), Sean walked up to the school and approached young Amy Mitchell (Abbie Burke).

Friday's episode closed with Sean heading towards Amy in the schoolyard while Stacey wasn't watching, and convincing her to get into his car.
"Did my mum really send you?" a confused Amy asked, with Sean flashing a sinister smile as he told her: "Yes, yes she did!"
Long-time viewers will remember that although Amy's parents are Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) and the late Roxy Mitchell (Rita Simons), she was raised for the first several weeks of her life by Sean.
Since Sean has been away from Walford for a decade and seemingly off the grid, he clearly had no idea that Roxy and sister Ronnie were tragically killed in a New Year's Day accident a few years ago.
With EastEnders already teasing a brawl between Jack and Sean at the Mitchell sisters' graveside in the episodes to come, we still can't imagine Sean snatching little Amy will go down well even though it has also been confirmed he does bring her back safely eventually.
Robert Kazinsky hinted at Sean and Jack's complex conflict earlier this week, revealing: "Sean and Jack come face to face, which evolved a lot from what initially was antagonistic to something much more important. Initially it was just a fight, but the truth is that the only person who understands Sean, is Jack.
"They share more things than either of them would ever admit – they both love Amy, they both lost the love of their life, and they never got to mourn. Sean's return gave both characters – not a friend, but somebody who understands."
EastEnders continues on Monday (April 29) at 8pm on BBC One.
