EastEnders will kick off Sean Slater's return drama next week as Stacey Fowler makes a shock confession.
Rob Kazinsky is reprising his role as Sean after ten years away, with his comeback first teased in last Friday's episode.
The scenes saw a supportive Shirley encourage her friend Jean to pen a wish list while undergoing her first round of chemotherapy treatment.
Now aware of Jean's desire to find Sean, Shirley will relay the information to a shocked Stacey in next week's episodes.
Still hurt that her mum is refusing to move back home, Stacey is left even more gobsmacked when Shirley admits that seeing Sean is the only thing Jean wants.
As Shirley's words play on her mind, Stacey ends up calling Sean but their call puts her in a very difficult position afterwards.
