EastEnders has hinted at a forbidden fling between Adam Bateman and newcomer Habiba Ahmed.
Adam (Stephen Rahman-Hughes) has been in a relationship with Honey since last year, but cracks have been starting to show in recent scenes.
With fans already speculating that Adam may not be right for Honey, a development in last night's episode has suggested she could indeed be heading for heartbreak.
After Habiba spotted Adam at Walford's pancake race, it later became clear that he shared a secret history with both her and her sister Iqra.
Although it's not been revealed how the clan know each other, upcoming scenes will see a besotted Habiba continue to pursue Adam.
Despite being fully aware that he's taken, Habiba will invite Adam for lunch – where she continues to flirt with him.
