EastEnders has hinted at a reunion for on-off lovers Ruby Allen and Jay Brown next week.
Ruby (Louisa Lytton) recently ended her romance with Jay, explaining that she wasn't ready for a relationship after everything that had happened.
As Jay continues to reel in the wake of his split from Ruby in next week's scenes, his friend Billy Mitchell urges him to fight for a reconciliation with her.
Desperate to lift Jay's spirits, Billy encourages him to get back in touch with Ruby, but his good intentions backfire when Jay orders him to stop interfering.
Despite Jay’s warning, Billy is unable to avoid getting involved altogether and later tells Ruby to reach out to Jay.
After a successful client pitch, Ruby starts to feel more positive about the future and turns her attentions back to Jay – offering him an olive branch.
