Former EastEnders stars Tom Watt and Linda Davidson have revealed whether they'd be up for making full-time comebacks as Lofty and 'Mary the Punk'.
The pair are reprising their iconic roles after 30 years and will be making a brief appearance in a special episode next week.
When Dot's friend Doctor Legg passes away in heartbreaking scenes this Friday (February 15), Mary and Lofty will arrive back in Walford to pay their respects at his funeral.
Tom and Linda filmed their return stint towards the end of last year, but had a mixed response when asked if they'd be up for returning to the Square on a more permanent basis.
Speaking about another possible return, Linda, who now works in digital technology, said: "I did parts for another 10-12 years after leaving but I’m now in digital media and I love my job. I really do.
"I can’t say that I haven’t fantasised about what it would be like to return [to EastEnders]. I don’t think the answer's yes or no. It might be in the future, but not certain."

Tom, who is currently ghostwriting an autobiography, added: "I don’t know, they’ve never said. But if they did [ask]? Yeah I like acting, I really like acting, it’s not that I’m not doing it because I don’t like acting, I’m not great at waiting for the phone to ring."
He added: "I love acting, I had a really good time. It’s harder work now though. They work a lot harder than we did. We did two episodes a week. They do twice as much.
"At the moment, I’m working [on] ghostwriting an autobiography. I was filming in Liverpool to produce some short films for BT Sport and about the Premier League about disability projects around football clubs, I do about ten of those a year.
"I do all sorts of stuff, but there would always be a bit of room for acting. I’ve been kinda waiting, if I wait long enough…"
EastEnders airs Lofty and Mary the Punk's return on Tuesday, February 19 at 7.30pm on BBC One.
