EastEnders landlord Mick Carter will break down as he finally opens up to Linda about his time in prison next week.
Mick (Danny Dyer) was sent to jail after being set up by scheming Stuart Highway last year, and unsurprisingly, has struggled ever since being released.
Wanting to distract himself from his inner turmoil, upcoming scenes will see Mick throw himself into coaching a local football team with Karen Taylor's ex Mitch – much to Linda's frustration.
Ignoring Linda's obvious annoyance, Mick is keen to persevere with his football duties – leaving her taken aback by his unhelpful and snappy attitude.
However, when Mick realises that he can't keep leaving his wife in the lurch, he eventually heads back to The Vic, but shocks Linda again by snapping at her.
With Mick struggling to keep it together, Linda is stunned when she finds him in a terrible state upstairs. As Linda tends to Mick, she urges him to explain what's going on – unable to ignore the tension between them any longer.
